Immunogen

Peptide corresponding to the amino acids 114-127 of human gamma synuclein protein.

Legal Information

CHEMICON is a registered trademark of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany

Linkage

Physical form

Rabbit serum. Lyophilized. Contains no preservative. Reconstitute with 50 µL of sterile distilled water. Centrifuge if necessary to remove any residue.

Specificity

Gamma synuclein. The immunizing peptide was chosen to reduce cross-reactivity of AB6466 with a and b-synuclein. Immunohistochemical and Western blot analysis of human brain indicates a high level of specificity.

Storage and Stability

Maintain lyophilized material at -20°C to -70°C for up to 6 months. After reconstitution maintain frozen at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
